Sam Kircher goes back-to-back-to-back

New Franklin senior Sam Kircher finished her high school softball career in style. On Monday, she was named to the Class 1 All-State team, the third time she’s received such an honor.

On an even more impressive note, Kircher has been an All-Stater at three different positions. She was an outfielder as a sophomore, an infielder as a junior and a catcher as a senior.

I didn’t know she had done it at three different positions! That is a special “hat trick,” for sure! Ever thought about sending that info to Sports Illustrated? They have that one page where they do special honor for prep sports, and surely something like that is worthy of a listing. Congrats to her for such a great high school career.
